Eternity2.fr provides a distributed software to find solutions for the puzzle.
If you find the solution on your computer, the money will be shared 50/50 with the webmaster.
Windows and Linux versions are available for members.
Please report any issue on the forum!
The software is launched in background, so you won't see anything on screen.
Please check the list of processes to make sure the software runs correctly.
On Windows, you will get a stderr.txt file to check for errors.
In order for this software to run correctly, you must:
- Have the real Eternity II puzzle, or you won't go far.
- Have a permanent connection to the internet.
- Create a "user.txt" file with 2 lines: your username on this website, and your password.
- Create a "pieces.txt" describing the pieces of the puzzle, as explained here: http://games.groups.yahoo.com/group/eternity_two/files/Eternity2.net/Def... .
- Optionally, you can create a "hints.txt" file with one hint per line: piece number, x position, y position and number of clockwise rotations.
